Description

Modern Foreign Language Teacher

Pay Scale MPS - UPS: £25,714 - £41,604 per annum

Required from September 2022

The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular oversubscribed school of 1300 students with attainment levels above the national average at both GCSE and post 16. We were inspected in March 2019 and the school was again judged as being “good”. It is worth reading the Ofsted letter as this gives a true flavour of our school.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Modern Foreign Language Teacher; the ability to teach French and Spanish to A Level would be an advantage.  We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for either someone looking to broaden their experience or an NQT teacher.

A job description and person specification with further information about the role can be downloaded below. An application form can be downloaded by clicking 'Apply Online' above. Applications must be made on an EMET application form. CVs will not be accepted. No agencies.

Please send completed applications forms to recruitment@emet.uk.com

Candidates are more than welcome to visit the school at any time and/or please view our school website josephwhitaker.org.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safeguarding checks will be undertaken during the recruitment process.

We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.

The closing date for applications is midday on Thursday 19th May 2022.
