We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Head of Computing to join us on our journey to academic excellence.
John Flamsteed Community School is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school located in Denby, Derbyshire within easy reach of Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield and the Peak District. We are a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with other academies within the Trust to ensure opportunities for continuing professional development. We enjoy an excellent local reputation and our intake has expanded from four to six forms of entry in recent years.
Visitors are impressed by our confident and articulate pupils as well as the smart appearance and excellent behaviour of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious leader who has experience of achieving success with students at GCSE level along with the understanding and experience of implementing effective strategies for improving learning across the computing curriculum.
