We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Computing to join us on our journey to academic excellence.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Teacher of Computing.  We are looking for evidence of high quality classroom practice leading to excellent results.  You will demonstrate knowledge, understanding and experience of successful strategies for improving motivation in learning across the curriculum.  We require a highly skilled teacher who can provide inspirational teaching at KS3 and KS4 and across a range of different abilities.

John Flamsteed Community School is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school located in Denby, Derbyshire within easy reach of Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield and the Peak District. We are a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with other academies within the Trust to ensure opportunities for continuing professional development. We enjoy an excellent local reputation and our intake has expanded from four to six forms of entry in recent years.

Visitors are impressed by our confident and articulate pupils as well as the smart appearance and excellent behaviour of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn.
