The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form is a high attaining, semi-rural, popular school located in the village of Keyworth in Nottinghamshire which is a 10 minute drive from West Bridgford.  We are also a founding partner of the East Midlands Education Trust, committed to providing a first class education for all of our students.

Are you committed to making a real difference to children’s lives?  We are looking for someone with excellent numeracy and literacy skills and with the tenacity to ensure that our young people receive the best possible provision.  You will be a member of our Student Support Team in The Bridge providing one to one or small group support for vulnerable youngsters.  You will also spend time supporting whole class teaching and will work closely with teachers to support them in making necessary adjustments to teaching and resources. The posts represent an exciting opportunity to play an important role in our work with our students.   As a lead member of the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership we are well placed to help our support staff who would like to progress into teacher training in the future. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

South Wolds is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.

If you would like further details regarding this role, please contact Gail Burrows on 0115 9373506.

Completed applications should be sent to recruitment@emet.uk.com. Only applications submitted on the Trust’s application form will be considered. We do not accept applications through recruitment agencies.
