The opportunity has arisen to lead our Computer Science department.
The Computer department is a thriving part of our school, and ripe for further development. The curriculum is rich and challenging and focuses on building students’ enjoyment and interest along with the knowledge and skills required for examination success.
For a January 2023 start or earlier, we are looking for an outstanding practitioner with a highly successful track record of developing the Computer Science curriculum. The successful candidate will be resourceful, inspirational, forward-thinking with strong leadership qualities. You will share our vision of achieving excellence and raising further the standards of teaching and learning.
We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:
- A strong background in Computer Science
- A passion for teaching, and a track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
- The ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their best
- Highly effective interpersonal, communication, management and leadership skills
- A commitment to professional development

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
