An opportunity to join The Joseph Whitaker School as a Design Technology teacher has become available. The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified Design and Technology teacher with expertise in either Resistant Materials or Food Technology.

The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular, oversubscribed school of around 1360 students with attainment levels above the national average at both GCSE and Post-16.  We were inspected in March 2019 and the school was again judged to be good.

This position would be ideal for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or someone looking to broaden their experience in another school.  We offer excellent training and professional development opportunities to all of our staff.
